The Jargon Group celebrates its fourth CMS accreditation for 2025

We’re delighted to announce that The Jargon Group has retained its Communication Management Standard (CMS) accreditation for 2025, marking our fourth consecutive year of achieving this globally recognised standard of excellence from the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA). 

From our beginnings as a start-up in 2009 to our global footprint today, we’ve stayed true to what defines us: a commitment to professional standards and doing the job properly. We’re proud members of the PRCA, and PRCA Middle East North Africa, and have been since day one. 

At Jargon, we believe growth starts from within. Every team member has access to structured development plans, regular internal training sessions and opportunities to learn from external experts. From specialist workshops to leadership coaching, we invest in skills that keep our people and our clients ahead of the curve. For our clients, this accreditation means working with a team that meets the highest global standards in communication management. 

The PRCA’s CMS accreditation is one of the most important tools in our quality armoury. As the PRCA explains, “CMS combines elements of ISO9001 and Investors in People with criteria specific to a PR and communications consultancy.” It’s a rigorous process that assesses nine key areas: leadership and communication, client satisfaction, campaign management, people management, new business, business improvement, financial systems, business planning and diversity. 

The first time you go through CMS, the bar is high and rightly so. These days, for us, it’s more evolution than revolution. Our processes and policies are embedded, proven and ready for assessment. Which is just as well because if they weren’t, it would be a tough target to hit!

This year’s health check focused on client satisfaction and the quality of the agency’s suppliers. Jargon clearly places strong emphasis on this area of the business: they maintain a multi-category supplier list with scoring, and they provided evidence showing that this list is actively updated. They regularly review service providers and seek ongoing improvements. In addition, the process is stored in a shared location and clearly explained to team members. Well done to Jargon—this was a thorough and comprehensive CMS submission.” 

We strongly encourage other agencies to put themselves forward for CMS. Beyond the badge, it’s a practical framework that strengthens business management and day-to-day operations. It also raises the professionalism of our industry helping all of us move forward and upward. 

As we look ahead to the year, our focus remains on growth, development and delivering real impact for our clients. Four years of CMS accreditation is a milestone, but it’s also a reminder: quality is a commitment, not a one-off achievement.
