The Jargon Group has been appointed by Manchester Tech Week, the North’s largest and fastest growing technology festival, to deliver a focused PR programme designed to elevate the event’s national profile and strengthen its influence across the UK digital economy.
Manchester Tech Week enters a new phase in 2026 with an expanded, citywide programme of conferences, exhibitions and community led events taking place from 27 April–1 May. Bringing together three core events alongside a rapidly growing Fringe programme, the week will create new opportunities for technology leaders, businesses and emerging talent to connect across the city.
More than 10,000 attendees are expected to take part across the week, spanning key areas of the digital economy including AI, cyber security, digital transformation, unified communications, B2B eCommerce and the creator economy. Two flagship events - Digital Transformation EXPO (DTX) and Unified Communications EXPO (UCX) will take place at Manchester Central, alongside Creator Economy Live at Victoria Warehouse and the IR B2B eCommerce Conference.
DTX will bring together IT leaders and teams responsible for cloud, data, AI and cyber security as organisations accelerate their digital transformation strategies. Running alongside it, UCX will convene UC and CX leaders, contact centre teams, AV specialists and security professionals exploring new approaches to colleague and customer experience. Speakers from organisations including Microsoft, the FBI’s Cyber Division, JD Sports and NatWest will share real world insights and case studies from major transformation programmes.
The Jargon Group will deliver a PR campaign focused on amplifying event themes, driving media engagement, profiling high impact speakers and strengthening awareness across national, regional and specialist technology press. The agency will also support storytelling around Manchester’s position as one of the UK’s leading tech hubs, home to more than 10,000 tech first businesses and a digital sector contributing over £5bn to the regional economy.
Gloria Sandrucci, Event Director at Manchester Tech Week, said: “Manchester Tech Week is evolving in scale, ambition and impact. Our 2026 programme is the most comprehensive yet, bringing together the technologies, talent and perspectives shaping the future of the UK’s digital economy. As we expand the event, it’s essential that our messaging is clear, compelling and far reaching. The Jargon Group’s experience in technology PR and strong understanding of the regional tech landscape make them the perfect partner to support this next stage of growth.”
Simon Corbett, Founder of The Jargon Group, added: “Manchester Tech Week has established itself as a pivotal platform for digital transformation and technology collaboration in the North. The depth of content, calibre of speakers and scale of this year’s event reflect its growing importance within the UK tech ecosystem. We’re delighted to be working with the team to amplify the story, showcase the impact of the programme and bring the event to an even wider audience across the UK.”
